are other themes within the movies to allow different activities and
themes. |
Printed images
provide a tactile experience of engaging and familiar film stills from the
movies.
Holding an image
close may provide a better visual engagement and interpretation.
Avoid
overloading care-recipient with too many images.
If a care-recipient holds a book or places it on
the table to read and turn the pages, it provides them with control of the
speed of their viewing and engagement.

Viewing the short, fun movie from a DVD may be best
suited in the morning activity rather than late afternoon or evening. The
shorter relaxing movies may suit a frail aged person in the mornings to provide
a feeling of involvement in the groups activities.

The relaxing 28minute movies provide longer
presentation of images and less active video scenes make them suitable to view
at anytime and are especially relaxing in the evenings.
The music is relaxing classical, familiar music.
The music in the 10minute fun movies has a little faster tempo.
The Flower Medley DVD and the 28minute movies are
ideal for playing with the television screen off to allow quiet enjoyment
of the music
